I offer both bespoke, private guiding and fixed date group trips to some of Africa's most beautiful, wild and photogenic destinations.

Every destination has its own allure, with previous trips focusing on photographing the wildebeest megaherds during calving season in the Serengeti in Tanzania, following the iconic big cats of the Maasai Mara in Kenya, the valley of the leopard in South Luangwa, and heading to Antarctica to photograph penguins. I am also currently working on new itineraries to Botswana & Uganda.

ETHOS: As with all my trips, this photographic safari is all about immersing yourself in nature, and having fun with your camera alongside other like-minded people.
These trips are suitable for photographers of any level, whether you are looking to learn the basic settings, or want to master more advanced concepts such as how to use light creatively to evoke emotion, how to tell stories by capturing interesting behaviours, and how impress viewers with eye-catching compositions.
MY PROMISE: You will always receive plenty of 1 to 1 time, even on a group trips, and during down time I am always available to help with editing - a vital part of the photographic process.
My aim is not just that you have the adventure of a lifetime, but also that you create beautiful portfolio worthy images, improve your skills for creatively using light and composition, and most importantly that you develop a proactive photography mindset, taking away skills that will allow you to capture unique and interesting images wherever and whenever you are photographing in the future.

Matthew is a London-based wildlife, travel & landscape photographer who's work has been recognised in Travel Photography of the Year on numerous occasions. He absolutely loves sharing his passion and to date has taught over 1,000 people in person on his workshops and photography holidays. Whether leading tours, shooting assignments or working on personal projects, he loves nothing more than getting out there and exploring the world with camera in hand and is excited to help you do the same!
