I have created this collection over the past 5 years while running puffin photography trips to Skomer Island. The obvious lure is the vast colony of Atlantic Puffins, which is the largest in southern Britain, and staying overnight has allowed for the opportunity to photograph the puffins at sunrise and sunset, when the light is most dramatic.
Skomer Island has recently closed to commercial tour groups in order to make more availability for individuals. It is a great shame, but also completely understandable. I am currently looking into alternative locations for running a puffin photography trip, so please do drop me a message if you are interested in finding out more once my new trips are launched. Puffins have so much character, and it's an experience I have loved sharing over the past 5 years, so I am determined to find something equally incredible!
