“Nothing beats a quiet sunrise, waiting for the morning light to start playing with the landscape. When that moment happens, I am completely fixated on trying to capture the atmosphere and character of the scene in front of me. This collection of images are the result of many hours and days spent exploring deserted beaches, climbing volcanoes and hiking in forests and mountains. I look for images not just in the wider landscape, but also in the details, where beauty often goes unnoticed.”
This portfolio of landscape photography has been produced while on commission, photographing personal projects (such as an exploration of 6 minute exposures) and leading photography holidays. Matthew’s images are regularly used by the likes of Nikon, Visit Britain, National Geographic Traveler, Lonely Planet and many other tourist boards, travel companies, travel guides and international publications.
